DESCRIPTION: Please join Veterans For Peace 003, Jim Harney Chapter, as we march in the annual Bangor-Brewer July 4th Parade. With so much of our nation’s focus turned to the economy and health care reform, it is particularly important to act as a voice for peace. We invite both veterans and non-veterans, members and non-members to join us and be a visual reminder of the importance of peace as we move through the post-Bush era.

6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Food, music & a great spot to watch the fireworks!

Tickets are $15 for adults, $2 for kids under five and $25 for the whole family, and are available before the event and at the door.

Proceeds go to benefit Food AND Medicine’s Solidarity Harvest, providing laid-off workers and their families with hearty, healthy Thanksgiving meals, and to the Eastern Maine Labor Council.
