Peace Action Maine and The Flatbread Company present a Rent Party benefit at The Meg Perry Center at 644 Congress Street in Portland, Maine on Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 8 to 11:00 PM featuring Kate Schrock, Sara Cox, and Megan Jo Wilson. This is an all ages event. The suggested donation is $5-10 at the door.

In Naming Kate Schrock “one of the best unsigned artists in the U.S.,” Billboard Talent Net has discovered what we in Maine have known for some time. Kate will be performing songs from her sixth CD release, “Invocation,” which features long-time Bob Marley and the Wailers hornsman Glen DaCosta. Sara Cox has shared the stage with John Hiatt, Suzanne Vega, Gillian Welch, Joe Ely, and a host of other national touring acts. She will be performing music from her latest CD release, “Crowded Is The New Lonely.”

Megan Jo Wilson will be featuring cuts from her two CD releases, “Seeds, Stars, Galaxies” and “Live At The Soundpost.”
