The film “Life & Debt” tells the little-known story of the devastating impact of globalized “free markets” upon the formerly agrarian & self-reliant island of Jamaica. With a vibrant Reggae soundtrack and voice-over of Jamaica Kincaid, this film is powerful and beautifully made.
