The Sustainable Maine Coalition; proposals for environmentally and economically smart reuse of the Brunswick Naval Air Station, efforts toward building an effective third party and toward a cabinet-level Department of Peace; trainings in non-violent communication; building Bridges of Conversation in our Communities; Town-Hall Forums; Congressional office sit-ins; candidates running for political office and campaigns to support them; the Maine Social Forum the PeaceWorks Peace Fair; proposals for University teach-Ins; film showings; speakers who bring us first hand knowledge of far-flung conflicts; opportunities for us to travel to national rallies or to Witness for Peace in international trouble spots.

Peace Talk invites you to send us book reviews, articles about work that inspires you, letters about articles in this issue, to become an active part of the ongoing dialogue for change.
