Why does President George W. Bush deserve to be impeached?

Let me count the reasons: 1) for leading our country into a war in Iraq using a propaganda campaign of lies and false documents, 2) for sending American soldiers to war without proper protection and adequate training, 3) for not providing wounded/traumatised soldiers with the quality medical care they deserve and need 4) while providing the very rich Americans with tax relief, thereby creating a terrible inequity in a time of war when all citizens should shoulder comparable burdens, 5) for illegally wire-tapping the phones of American citizens, 6) for allowing torture on inmates in Abou Graib prison and in Guantanamo prisoner camp, thereby tarnishing the good name of America and putting our own troops at risk of reciprocity, 7) for stealing the presidency, through election fraud, in 2000 and again in 2004, thereby making a mockery of our democracy, and 8) in general, for acting in such a manner as to causing our nation, respected and loved in the past, to become the object of ridicule or, much worse, distrust and hatred, thereby putting our country in dire danger of another terrorist attack.

The dictionary says: “traitor is a person who betrays his country or a trust.

Mr. Bush not only has proved incompetent, but he has betrayed the trust of his oath of office for the benefits of a few and the satisfaction of his own ego.

Impeachment is a mild punishment.
