Peace Action Maine and Maine's Poor People's Campaign joined forces to hear from Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis, co-chair of the Poor People's Campaign (view video), introduced by member Rev. Rich Killmer. Marcy Makinen and Josh Kauppila shared history and an update of Maine's PPC. Emily Dorrel, of CodePink described other programs in support of the exciting upcoming June 18 PPC event in DC.

The June 18 National March & Assembly addresses the major issues facing the nation's 140 million low wealth people. The PPC is the largest movement in the nation that explicitly rejects militarism and calls for reordering the war economy.
