A feminist approach to disarmament and antiwar work.
This program evolved from the #stillhere global action and our WILPF sister.
In honor of the official recognition of the start of the United Nations 75 years ago on October 24, 1945 the WILPF US section has invited Ray Acheson, the Director of Reaching Critical Will, International WILPF's disarmament program (  https://www.reachingcriticalwill.org/) and Genevieve Riccoboni, the Communications Associate for WILPF's Women, Peace and Security Program to bring us up to date on WILPF's work at the UN .
WILPF, the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, has had consultative status with the UN since 1948 and had members present, as delegates and observers, at the founding conference of the UN in San Francisco in May-June 1945 (https://www.vtwilpfgathering.com/wilpf-and-the-founding-of-the-un  ).
Our Thursday 22nd October webinar will start at 5pm EDT
