VOTE ON YEMEN IS BLOCKED IN HOUSE
The House just voted 201-187 in favor of H.Res. 1142, a rule de-privileging and preventing a vote on H.Con.Res. 138 to end U.S. support for the Saudi-led intervention in Yemen. Within H.Res.1142 (The Manage our Wolves Act) lurked the language that depriviled HCONRES 138. Peace Action Maine notes that Representative Chellie Pingree has co-sponsored HCONRES 138 and voted NO to deprivilege it.
