Yemen  Can't Wait  March 25 On Line Rally (Recording here)
End the U.S.-Backed Saudi War on Yemen

Saturday, March 25 marks the eighth anniversary of the beginning of the Saudi-led coalition's bombing of Yemen. To mark the occasion, a coalition of U.S. and international groups held an online rally to inspire and enhance education and activism to end the war in Yemen.

You are invited to join coalition of U.S. and international groups including Peace Action, Yemen Relief and Reconstruction Foundation, Action Corps, Friends Committee on National Legislation, Stop the War UK, World Beyond War, Fellowship of Reconciliation, Roots Action, United for Peace & Justice, Win Without War,Code Pink, Michigan Peace Council, and more for an online rally to inspire and enhance education and activism to end the war in Yemen.  Speakers included:Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Rep. Pramila Jayapal, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Ro Khanna, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, Dr. Shireen Al-Adeimi, Dr. Aisha Jumaan, Hassan El-Tayyeb and more.

We call upon upon ourlegislators to end U.S. support for the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen.

We urge our members of Congress to immediately and publicly pledge to:

→ Pass a War Powers Resolution to finally end U.S. involvement in the War in Yemen.

→ Stop Weapons Sales to Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

→ Call on Saudi Arabia and the UAE to Lift the Blockade and fully open airports and seaports.

→ Support the People of Yemen through the expansion of humanitarian aid for the people of Yemen. 

→ Assemble a Congressional Hearing to examine the U.S. role in the war in Yemen.

The war on Yemen is only possible because the United States continues to arm Saudi Arabia and provide
military, political, and logistical support for the war. The Western powers are active participants.
We have the power to stop the world's largest humanitarian crisis.
