One day, when my sister platoon was manning the outpost, an Afghan man inexplicably went over to the speed bump, rolled it up, and carried it off to his tractor, seemingly with the hope of keeping it for himself.
Seeing that the speed bump was being removed, a soldier from my sister platoon yelled from the guard tower, hoping the bump stealer got the message. It's unclear if the Afghan man heard or understood."
